The Aurum is a secretive social club containing many of the wealthiest citizens of Khorvaire with an interest in history and artifacts of the past.

Members of the Aurum, known as Concordians, wear eight rings of a varying metal (copper, silver, gold or platinum) at all times, a tradition derived from their dwarven founders. These rings correspond to their Concord. Each ring has the same value as 10 coins of the same metal.

Some believe there is a secret conspiracy within the Aurum that operates separately from the Concords. This Shadow Cabinet is believed to have plans to rule the continent of Khorvaire.
