Eldeen Reaches

West of Aundair and Breland, the Eldeen Reaches are covered in trackless forest and open farmland, with the largest community not even the size of Throneport’s backdoor, Estaby. The two main types of people you will encounter in the Eldeen Reaches are foresters and farmers.

The western half of the Reach is home to a great many of its Druidic sects, such as the Gatekeepers, and the majority of Khorvair’s shifters. Many of these shifters have integrated into the druid sects, but most live in tribes within the woods. Each tribe has distinct customs, some celebrating their bond with nature being shy and nomadic by nature, others establishing hamlets and trading with travellers of the north eastern plains.

The eastern half of the Reach is home to hundreds, if not thousands, of small farms and farming communities. Many of these farms and communities are clients of House Vadalis, if not outright owned by the House, which gives them the advantage of having the latest developments in farming technology and plant and animal strains but often puts them at odds with the druid-led hamlets and sects in the woods.
