Hell of a Summer
Singing Sword Tavern
The Singing Sword tavern is on the southeast edge of the Market in Castle Ward. The tavern is three stories high and features multiple entrances and exits, open along the front side to Bazaar Street, only half a block from the High Road and 3 other major north-south boulevards, and along the back and sides to the Market itself. Traffic regularly flows in and out in every direction, and part of the draw is people watching from the upper floors or the secluded booths along the walls of the first floor.
The tavern’s namesake- an enchanted, intelligent sword that fancies itself a bard and seems to have think it’s a person instead of a sword- hangs above the main bar and engages in lively conversation with passersby when it’s not leading the tavern in rounds of songs.
